The Wauwatosa Public Library is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council for three-year terms. The Board works with the Mayor, library staff, and the Common Council to plan, fund, and implement public library services in Wauwatosa. The Board also includes a non-voting aldermanic liaison. The Library Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
