What is a Death Cafe ?

 

A Death Cafe is a place for people of all ages to discuss issues related to death and dying. The goal is to support each other in normalizing talk about death, which is an important part of life. It is a free gathering that is completely participant led. It is not therapy or a grief group. There is no agenda. We take turns speaking or just listening, thoughtfully and respectfully – you decide what you want to do at Death Cafe. All ideas and beliefs are honored and respected.

Whether you’re new to writing or a seasoned pro, drop “write in” to one of our writing sessions. Bring whatever you’re working on, keep writing, and find inspiration from other writers in our group. We’ll provide the space and snacks.

Spend the second and fourth Monday evening of each month from 6 to 7:30 PM writing with us. Registration not required.
